If you've ever heard of "Under the Tuscan Sun" (as if you haven't), then you already know the basic plot of Home to Italy.
The biggest difference between the two, is that this one is written more for men. The main character is a widower who returns to Italy where he grew up. He is a cyclist, and meets up with his childhood friend and tries to rebuild his life.
It really is the same plot, but with a few of the words changed.
That being said, I did still enjoy reading it. It was predictable, but fun nonetheless.
If nothing else, it made me dream and think fondly of a vacation / long amount of time spent in Italy. Hopefully in the near future.
