Casino Royale is the first James Bond movie I've ever seen. I know; I couldn't believe it either. I will definitely have to check out some more soon. (I'd love to see some of the Sean Connery ones.) Anyway, take this review of Casino Royale with the salt grain that it is my first 007 flick.

I really liked it. I thought, however, that the violence was a bit over the top. I'm sure that for some of you out there, the violence is what you like about James Bond. But, I like the intrigue. Trying to discover the plot the same way the characters do. That having been said, I had a hard time with following the plot completely.

I thought that it was fairly straight forward right up until the end. I thought they could have explained that a bit better. Not wanting to give anything about the end of the movie away, that's all I'm going to say about it.

It was fun to watch Casino Royale. I'm glad to have finally seen a James Bond film, and I'll definitely be seeing more of them in the future.
