This movie does not get a very high rating from me for a few reasons. Frankly, I didn't like it, but I'd still be willing to give a movie I didn't like a good rating if it had some other good redeeming qualities. However, Come Early Morning just stinks.

The movie does not introduce who the characters are. We have no way of knowing how all the people are connected. I was able to infer some guesses as to how everyone related to the film, but some sort of line like, "Good morning Grandma" if the woman is her grandma would be a big help.

Not only is there no character introduction, but there is also no character development. These are all very flat and static characters. Only one undergoes any kind of change, and this happens dramatically in the last five seconds of the film.

There were several times I debated stopping the movie. But I just can't bring myself to not finish a movie that I started. But I would rank this as two hours of my life that I will never get back, and were a complete waste. I certainly won't watch it again.
