Prime is kind of a fun movie. It is interesting to watch everyone unfold as they discover the connections between them. A 37 year old divorcee begins dating a 23 year old painter, who happens to be the son of her therapist. The two lovers obviously undergo their own problems, some of which are highly predictable. But the therapist also undergoes her own set of problems. While possibly not stated explicitly, these problems are resolved in one way or another by the end of the film. I guess I enjoyed watching the character's reactions to things more than I enjoyed the movie. Prime isn't a bad movie by any means, it just wasn't "highly enjoyable" to the point where I want to watch it over and over again like I do Miss Potter and Because I Said So. But, check out Prime if you're in the mood for something funny, and witnessing some funny family ties.
