I'm guility. I read this book based only on its cover. It turns out that my sister bought the book for the same reason. Well, it must have worked because it got both of us to read it.
I'm glad to have read it. I won't sit here and tell you that it's the best book I've ever read. But, it was entertaining. And, it made me think about a few things I'd never thought about before.
Could I ever be a spy? Is that something I could do? (Not something I'd like or want to do, but something I really could be capable of doing.)
In "The Diplomat's Wife" by: Pam Jenoff, Marta has to answer these questions.
While some found it full of twists and turns and unexpected answers, I found it predictable. I still thought it was enjoyable, but for me, it was a bit too banal.
