I love flying. As long as I can remember I've loved flying. One of the things that makes flying so great, is that it almost always gives me an opportunity to read a great book. A professor once told me that a book you can start and finish on a plane flight is an "airport romance".
"Confessions of a Shopaholic" by Sophie Kinsella is definitely an airport romance. It's one of those that is a purely pleasure read. It's more like eye candy than brain candy.
I enjoyed the story. But, honestly, I thought that the movie was better. Maybe that's because I saw it first, before reading the book, but I really thought that the movie captured the essence of being a shopaholic better.
So, if you haven't read it yet, and you see yourself on a short flight in the near future, then I recommend that you take that time and have a little fun for yourself by reading "Confessions of a Shopaholic".
