A while ago, I read an article that said that giving away free content for a Kindle was a bad marketing idea.

I've got news for you. Whoever thinks that is very very stupid wrong.

Let me tell you why.

A few months ago, I ordered a copy of "Luxe" by: Anna Godbersen. I ordered it only because it was free for my Kindle.

After reading it, I ordered, and paid for, the second book, "Rumors".

And, as soon as I finished it, I ordered, and paid for, the third book "Envy".

That means that I spent $18.99 on the two books I bought. Because they hooked me on the series by giving me the first book for free.

Had it not been for free I would never have purchased the book.

"Rumors" picks up where "Luxe" left off. Diana and Henry are in love but Diana knows that Elizabeth is alive, and Henry doesn't. Penelope continues her wicked ways, and Elizabeth and Will try to make a life for themselves in California.

Elizabeth and Will return to New York when her mother falls ill, and it only goes down hill from there.
