Original Sin starring Angelina Jolie and Antonio Banderas movie review
Starring: Antonio Banderas and Angelina Jolie
2001; 116 minutes
Yes, it's true. I'm a little behind the times. I'm just now seeing this movie for the first time. It is one that I have wanted to see since it came out, but never got around to. Then, last night, it was on. In English. In Panama. Amazing. So, I curled up and watched it with my hubby.
From my days of being obsessed with Mary Higgins Clark, and other mysteries (Thanks Sherrill), I'm generally a good guesser at how things go. That was the case here as well. I didn't get it all right away, but I got enough.
A man is looking for a wife, but doesn't believe in love. So, he orders one. From the minute she steps off the boat in Cuba, neither of their lives are the same again. You will need to fast forward through a rather long sex scene if you don't like that sort of thing.
Original Sin is really a good movie with lots of fun twists and turns to it. And it stars two fantastic actors as well (even though I'm not much of a fan of Angelia Jolie myself, that girl can act.). It provided a night of good entertainment, and I'm happy I got to see it - which is more than I can say for a lot of movies.
