"The Someday List" just might be the end of my free book reading on Kindle. There's a reason that this book was free - no one wanted to buy it.
Don't walk away from this book, run. It's just bad on so many levels.
The characters aren't developed. The book has conflict / resolution. And, the reasoning behind the actions of the characters makes no sense.
Also, it's a Christian book. Don't get me wrong. I like Christian novels. I absolutely adored the Christy Miller series while growing up.
What I don't like are the preachy ones. The ones that are so preachy that you can't even turn the page without feeling like you might go to hell.
And, to me, some the messages that comes across in "The Someday List" isn't something I agree with anyway.
In short, a marriage is on the rocks, and a friend is dying. So, a woman decides to make a list of all the things she wants to do in life.
The trouble is, she doesn't know of a single thing. Seriously? Who can't put a single thing on their wish list?
And the whole shaky-marriage...try communication people. Talking. It works wonders. If one person doesn't know how the other person is feeling, there's nothing they can do to fix it!
