It appears that I am, once again, behind the times. HBO recently made this book series into a TV series. How many books are there now? I have no idea. But, I will say that after reading the first one, I can see why it's popular. Maybe not quite so popular as it is, but it definitely is deserving of some popularity.

It's really fun to read about Mma Ramotswe's adventures in Botswana. While the story she finds herself chasing is a bit gruesome at times, it always left me wanting more.

The humor throughout the book is what kept me moving forward. I rated it a 3 probably because it was a bit too overhyped for me, so my expectations were too high.
