At El Quincho del Tio querido you'll find the biggest restaurant in the small town of Puerto Iguazu, Argentina. Out front is the grill where all the meats are cooked and you get a quick glimpse as you walk in. They also have a live band who serenades you while you eat. The atmosphere is open and welcoming and the servers are very nice and friendly.

When we were looking for a place to eat dinner, and asked locals for recommendations, they all suggested El Quincho del Tio querido. One night, we decided to go with a few of our friends. There were five of us, and we decided to order the complete Parrilla for four, and a few salads as well. When the meal came, we were served a mini table grill filled with all kinds of meat and organs as well. (This is part of the Parrilla completa. You will be served organs. In this case it was kidneys, intestine, and some other unknowns.) The vegetarian options at El Quincho were limited to spaghetti with pesto. (And, I don't really recommend it. The noodles were very overcooked, and the pesto was more olive oil than pesto.)

In all honesty, the food was good. But it wasn't exceptional. The music was ok, but it wasn't exceptional. Unfortunately while we were there it was all covers of 80s tunes, and no real traditional Argentine music. However, this did offer us the change to sing along. One person in our group even got asked to sing on stage.

We had a great time while eating at El Quincho, even though the food wasn't the best. If we go back, it would be to remember our experience, not because the food was that good.
