My first challenge
I've known for awhile that there are "challenges" out there for readers. I've been wanting to join one for a long time now. So, I'm joining my first one: The Eponymous Challenge hosted by: coversgirl. Here's how this challenge works:
The challenge will run from 1 March to 31 May, 2008.
During that time your mission should you choose to accept it is to read 4 books whose titles are the name of one or more of the characters (e.g. Evelina, Oscar and Lucinda); or a description of one or more of the characters (e.g. The Merchant of Venice, Sylvia's Lovers).
And, here's my list I will definitely read the following three books:
The Book Thief by: Markus zusak
The Other Boleyn Girl by: Phillipa Georgia
The Time Traveler's Wife by: Audrey Niffenegger
and I will select at least one of the following two:
Jane Eyre by: Charlotte Bronte
The Kite Runner by: Khaled Hosseini

Comments
Yay! Your first challenge. I *definitely* recommend The Book Thief and Jane Eyre.
I really liked the premise of The Time Traveler's Wife and *cannot wait* for the movie. The book has some excessive bad language in it, but I really loved the story. Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams are perfect to play those roles.

I'm very excited for this challenge. I didn't know that they were making a movie of "The Time Traveler's Wife". That's exciting too. (Part of the reason why "The Kite Runner" is on the list is so that I can read it before I see the movie.)
