Scarlett is the sequel to Gone with the Wind. It continues the story of Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler. As the title suggests though, the story is mainly concerned with Scarlett. It details her attempt to win back Rhett. She does this through many adventures that span Charleston, SC, Savannah, GA, and Ireland. Her adventures in Ireland are especially fun to read. (Probably because I love travel, and can't wait to go to Ireland.)
I read Scarlett immediately after finishing Gone with the Wind. That made for a bit of a difficult transition. The writing styles are pretty different, but the same as well. I would highly recommend this book. However, I would also recommend a break between reading this and Gone with the Wind. This book is not as "educational" as Gone with the Wind, but it is still amusing and fun to read.
