My first Korean food experience took place at "Korea House". We were taken there by some friends of ours who are Korean. That was a good sign to me. I ordered a soup that had no meat and no shellfish. (Actually, our friends ordered it for me.) My soup was very heavy on the rice and light on the vegetables. But, the vegetables were very good. And, I was a little unnerved by the raw egg that came on top. The broth came in a separate dish, and when I poured it on, it cooked the egg, but not quite enough for my taste. It was good, but it wasn't excellent. All my friends really enjoyed their meals. I would go back, but I would try something else next time. So, if you're wanting to try Korean food, give Korea House a try.
