"Arranged" is the story of two young women who become friends during their first year of teaching. Rochel is Orthodox Jewish and Nasira is Muslim. The two become friends despite their families who do not necessarily approve of the friendship. Even though their families, peers, and even boss find the relationship odd, the two find that they can learn quite a bit from each other.

Both young women are in the process of becoming engaged. In both faiths, this is an arranged marriage where family members find an appropriate mate. Rochel and Nasira find that they really are more similar than they think.

I really enjoyed "Arranged". I was, from the very beginning, 100% bought into the characters. Even after the movie ended, I was so engrossed in the characters that I wanted to know more. The story is well told, and very believable. I came across it by a fluke, and I'm glad I did.

I highly recommend that everyone see this movie. Everyone: kids, adults, couples, men, women, people of all faiths.
