Hot Rod is the story of a stunt man who decides to raise money for his dying stepfather...so he can beat his stepfather in a fight. Hot Rod is one of those movies where you have to be in the right mood to watch it and enjoy it. It's very funny, but not if what you're hoping for is intellectual humor. Hot Rod is one of those movies that has you asking "What?!?" It's an indirect spoof on all the movies where all the hero's dreams come true in the end. This is a movie I wish I had seen with my brother...his laugh would have me rolling on the floor, and I know he'd be laughing. Big brother, if you're reading this, then see the movie and tell me what you think.

Rent Hot Rod, and enjoy the ridiculousness of the movie. I bet you'll laugh in spite of yourself.
