Quantum of Solace

Being only the second James Bond movie I've seen, Quantum of Solace probably deserves a better review than I'm going to give it. Or maybe not.

It was ok. Nothing great. Nothing special. I liked the first one much better. (It probably helps that I watched the two back to back because I understood more of what was going on in Quantum. I heard others had problems following.)

I felt that Quantum of Solace was much more action / violence for the sake of action and violence. I didn't really feel as if the story had much of a story to it. (It did have, however, quite the political point -and a good one at that.)

I guess, if you like James Bond, then you'll like Quantum of Solace, but if you're new to the 007 genre like me, this one is not the best to get you started.
