"Semi Pro" is the story of Flint Michigan's American Basketball Association's team the Tropics. Owner and coach and player Jackie Moon does all he can to rally his team to make their dreams of playing in the NBA come true.

Jackie Moon is a one-hit-wonder with his song "Sexy Love", and uses that to gain fans and attendance to the games. But he doesn't stop there.

Full of funny lines and events, "Semi-Pro" is a good movie for those days when you're in need of a good laugh. Odds are you are already familiar with Will Ferrell's comedy style, so you already know if you'll like it or not. Don't expect "Semi-Pro" to be different. If you like silly comedies, then you'll like this movie. If you don't, then don't watch it.
