The Ex movie review
Starring: Amanda Peet, Zach Braff, and Jason Bateman
"The Ex" is the story of Tom (Braff) who loses his job right as his wife, Sofia, (Peet) has their baby. Sofia decides to quit her high-paying job, and the couple decide to move to Ohio where Tom can work for his father-in-law, and Sofia can stay home with the baby. Obviously, things don't go so well once they get there. I'll let you fill in the rest of the story line yourself.
"The Ex" is not the best film I've seen, but it isn't the worst either. The plot line is totally predictable unfortunately. The acting is mediocre, and I wasn't all that impressed. I don't really recommend it. But it did have some humorous moments to it. There are so many other movies out there that are worth watching and will actually make you laugh. But, maybe I watched the wrong version...I've heard that the "unrated" version has more character development in it than the one that is rated PG-13.
