The Musketeer
Rating: 2
The Musketeer is based on the novel by Alexander Dumas. So, if you've seen any "Three Musketeer" movie, you've seen them all essentially. (Even though the tag line for this one is "Like you've never seen it before") Alexander Dumas' novel is updated with an eastern influence as D'Artagnan attempts to join the king's elite guards, the Royal Musketeers, and find the man who killed his parents.
You can definintely tell that the eastern martial arts played a roll in this version. In fact, that's really the only thing that made it watch-able. It wasn't bad. It just wasn't good either.
And, there were some serious errors...I can't tell you; it would spoil the end. But, one example is using kilometers to measure distance when that measuring system wasn't in use yet. Anyway....
I guess I don't really recommend that you waste your time with The Musketeer. There are too many better versions out there to watch this one.
