The Thomas Crown Affair could have been a good movie. However, Rene Russo destroyed it. Her character was a hard one to play, and I don't believe that she was right for the job. I was annoyed throughout the movie at Russo's character / acting. I thought that Pierce Brosnan did a great job, and I was interested in the movie. I thought the plot was a good one.

I was slightly disappointed that we didn't find out how he stole the last painting, but I can live without knowing that. However, the most disappointing part of the whole movie was the last line. It made absolutely no sense. There are so many ways they could have ended this film, and they chose that one?

I guess that I feel that this movie could have been better. It had the makings of something great, and they really dropped the ball on this one.
