Ugh. I did NOT like "Gulliver's Travels". I can appreciate it from a learning perspective. So, I probably would have liked it a lot more had I read it in an English class so we could learn and discuss all the connections Swift was making with the British bourgeois at the time.

I'm not as diligent as I should be about learning about the time and the connections, and the history behind the literature of the times. I would probably have liked it more that way.

Also, I listened to the audio version of it, and I was so not impressed by the reader. That could have also had something to do with my dislike for the book.

Everyone asks me if I've seen the movie. I haven't. But, after reading the book, I'm certainly not going to see the movie that's for sure.
