Stargirl is a young adult novel, and is written from the perspective of a sixteen year old boy, Leo. Leo tells the story of how a young girl named Stargirl transformed his high school. Stargirl brought out the best and the worst of the students in the school. But she always remained true to herself. That is, until Leo asked her to change.
This was a cute book, and a fun read. For adults it can be read in an afternoon. I liked this book mostly because of the lessons it teaches. Always be yourself, and popularity may come at a price.
Adults can check out Stargirl to catch a glimpse into the world of their teenagers, and others can read it for fun. Enjoy Stargirl. She certainly makes you think about things a little bit differently.
