For those of you who don't know The 6th Target is the sixth book in a series that features San Francisco police officer Lindsay Boxer and her friends, "The women's murder club". I have read (ok, listened to) all the books in the series. So far, the first (1st to Die) is my favorite.

I really enjoyed this book. I love trying to solve the crimes that happen, as if I had a forensic background of any kind. The 6th Target follows Lindsay as she tracks down the man who fired six shots on a ferry ride one summer day. It also follows her friends and the mysterious happenings that surround them.

I would recommend this book if you enjoy mysteries. James Patterson is a great writer, and this book is very well done, and will keep you gripped until the very end (as usual). While it is not necessary to read the other books in the series first, I recommend that you read them at some point.
