Maybe it's me. I just don't get all the hype around "Sex and the City". I think that the movie was well done, and that it did a good job of tying the series (that ended 4 years prior) to the movie. But I do have a major complaint...
Why oh why does Carrie continue to go back to Mr. Big (John)? He spent 6 years treating her badly during the series. Then in the movie...(read it in the extended entry only after you've seen the movie).
Overall, the movie was well done. I enjoyed it. I did think it was a bit long, but I'm sure that those of you who are major SitC fans didn't think so.
Before you see the movie, watch the series. Or if you have no desire to watch the whole series, the movie will be ok, not stellar, but decent.
I did love the fashion and the shoes especially. I thought that Kim Cattrall did an especially good job in the movie as well. Go Kim!

He leaves her at the altar. And, she still goes back to him in the end? I just don't get it. Who would actually do that? Either person. Who could treat a woman the way that John did, and still expect her to come back to him? Ugggh.
And, they all call their friend fat when she still looks fabulous? What is that? Who tells their friend that she looks fat and disgusting? Jeez...
