The In-Laws

I was expecting a romantic comedy out of The In-Laws, a bit like Father of the Bride or so. But what I was not expecting was a movie that was a bad action movie that they then tried to pass off as a chick flick. I don't know, maybe they were trying to appeal to both men and women. The In-Laws does have a "stupid" comedy feel (a la Starsky and Hutch), but an early version where it has yet to be perfected, and just wasn't funny. Parts were amusing I suppose, but overall I found it lacking more than just humor, but a plot too.
