Is another novel where people blame everyone else for their misfortunes. I'd thought that this would be a good book for discussion. Now that I've read it, I'm really glad that I didn't choose it for a book club read. I hated it. The main characters are flat, the story is nothing special that hasn't been told a hundred times before, and the writing is mediocre.
There's no discussing this novel. At least no thought-provoking discussion can be had from reading it and talking about it. It's one of those books where people say, "oh. I've read that." in a very flat tone of voice, rather than saying "OH, I've read that!". I doubt anyone falls into the latter category. But, just in case you're dying to find out, you can read it at your own risk.
Happiness is found internally, not sold separately. (And if you bought this book, you certainly didn't buy happiness.)
